“How shall WE escape if WE neglect so great salvation”. This message is a caution against backsliding for both the preacher and the hearer alike. Looking at each word of this verse, the word "neglect" in particular, tells us that we can know the word of God but fail to heed it/make light of it or not take it seriously. Therefore, we are to "take our spiritual pulse" making sure that we're plugged in to God's Word by faith and taking it to heart.
