Genesis 22:1-19 Put God First at Any Cost

God tested Abraham to see if his devotion to God was stronger than his love for his son. Abraham trusted God would keep His promise, and for his obedience God provided a substitute sacrifice. This event foreshadows the ultimate sacrifice of Christ and serves as a reminder for us to look for God’s lesson in our crisis. God will test us to see what is in our hearts, to see if we will put Him above all else.
