God had a plan when He created Earth and when He created man. Heaven was already in view. His intent to have perfect fellowship with man was thwarted with the fall of our first parents. In love, God drove Adam and Eve out of the garden so they would not be forever out of fellowship and He laid the groundwork for Christ to restore our communion with Him.
