It is impossible to give one straight definition of sanctification. It is God’s way of restoring us to our intended human-hood, conformed to the image and likeness of Christ. Sanctification cannot be limited only to something set apart, because we’re tapping into a dimension of God that can’t be defined; it represents the essence of God above everything.
