Our own language frames make it difficult to understand the true meaning of the words translated as holiness and sanctify in the Bible. A study of the different verbal forms of the Hebrew word they are translated from will give us a clearer understanding of the original meaning in the context they were written. This will lead us to a better understanding of the same words in the New Testament and how they apply to us today.
